This week I’ve been researching and contemplating the concept of unleashing our infinite energy from within.  Each of us seemingly has boundless energy to undertake anything we choose in life, with the limit often being our mindset.

Yes, mindset and your energy go hand in hand…

When we’re motivated everything and anything is possible.  Have you had those moments of inspiration where you fully believed you had the “world at your feet” and that anything was possible.   Yes, these euphoric moments are often fleeting, however depending on your level of self-belief, focus and perseverance I truly believe when you couple this with your positive energy special things can happen.

Inspiration comes in many forms however one thing is true in that the requisite level of energy are aligned with your level of motivation for a specific task or activity.  You definitely know when you have to undertake something that does not motivate you, as your energy levels often remain low.

Imagine waking up every day with a single thought that the world is at your feet and that anything is possible.  However, the reality and challenge most of us face is that when we wake most days there are competing thoughts already flowing fast and furious through our psyche.  This drains our energy as our level of consciousness are already clouded by too many thoughts and tasks to do in the coming day.   We block ourselves!

This doesn’t allow us to take a breath and rid our minds of all these extraneous thoughts or imagine a world of infinite possibilities and that you control with your mindset.

If you’re able to reach this level of consciousness and clear your mind, then you’re already well ahead of 99.9% of people starting their days. The importance of finding this level of tranquillity is priceless.

Can you imagine experiencing this level of empowerment coursing through your veins each and every morning?  This is my aspiration!  Each morning, I endeavour to tap into this level of consciousness with some days being more successful than others, yet I persevere.

Our energy levels are directly correlated to the amount of mental traffic flowing through our heads at any given time.  It can be easy to feel overwhelmed and drained of energy when you have too much going on inside your head.  The concept of multi-tasking your way to success is overstated, and in fact I would argue that to be single minded in your approach to what you’re working on is an infinitely more successful approach.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where multi-tasking is seen as a strength but scratch just below the surface and you’ll often find that this approach often is mediocre at best.  Want to do many things poorly or half-assed at any given time then definitely continue multi-tasking…

Like many things in life, we need to focus which is one of my main tenets.

I’ve always believed that if you have a high degree of self-belief, focus and perseverance and couple this with a positive and open mindset you’re close to invincible.  This is especially true when you bring your curiosity and creativity to bear on a task, project or problem to solve.

All of these aspects culminate in unleashing the best version of yourself, which unto itself drives your energy and thirst for greater accomplishments.  No goal is too high when you’re in this zone.

We all have an incredible amount of energy inside us, but accessing it only happens when we consciously open our heart and soul and limit the noise inside our head.  In essence, I believe this translates into leading with love.

I’m a work in progress and endeavour to do my best, but realistically my progress is much less than I would like.  The hard part for me is shutting off all of the thoughts, worries and concerns of life to find that truly quite space in my head when I start my day.

I suppose the most important thing is to keep an open and accepting mind to the infinite possibilities of life.  This takes commitment, much like anything else it requires a level of commitment that is non-negotiable to really see the long-term benefits.

Even when things go against you, as invariably they will from time to time it is important to not close up but accept the situation for what it is and move on.  Personally, I use the “What theory” in situations like this – identify what the situation or issue is, determine what are the implications, and finally decide on what action I can take to mitigate or relieve the situation.

This method takes a clear head, clarity and a level of consciousness or detachment whereby your emotions are held at arm’s length so that you can use your mind effectively.   I find this method empowering as I’m not caught up in the inevitable emotions of the moment.

Enabling this infinite amount of energy won’t happen overnight, but with perseverance you certainly increase the odds of attaining greater amounts or energy which leads to all sorts of benefits in our lives.

What are the triggers and tactics you use to access your energy?  Are you able to hold this energy or does it dissipate quickly?

Food for thought?

Until next week…

Ciao!
