As we reflect on our lives there is always too little time…

Strangely, the most important thing in life has no value, nor it can’t be bought, or traded.  Even the richest of the rich can’t acquire any more. Nope we all suffer from too little time.

There are no exceptions!

For the most part our lives are full and hectic which doesn’t provide us with much reflection or thinking time.

We tend to float along, me included thinking that we have time…

Sometimes putting off the little things, other times procrastinating on the more difficult discussions or decisions in our lives.

Each and every time we say goodbye to a loved one, we don’t dwell, in fact we never dwell on the fact that we have too little time to say and do all things that we might want.

This also goes for aspects of our day-to-day lives including keeping the romance alive in your relationship.

With every gap there is an inherent opportunity.

Over the past year Judy and I have been thinking of launching our new business to help couples keep the romance and love flowing.

Not easy when we’re caught up in the busy lives that we all lead.  Imagine a service that can help you expertly create moments of love and romance with your partner or loved ones…

Bringing creativity and adventure to these little moments differentiates and fuels the passion of relationships, and let’s face it sometimes we just plain run out of ideas.

That’s where we come in.

Not only with the ideas, but also the creation and crafting of these special moments.  Perhaps it’s a gift, or perhaps an adventure or experience, or maybe something as simple as a gesture of love.

We’ve undertaken exhaustive research to get us to where we are today and preparing for our imminent launch.

I know there will be naysayers, in fact I’d be surprised if there wasn’t cos a healthy dose of scepticism is actually quite helpful when it comes to delving deeply into all aspects of the business model.

Even with all of the research and planning I’m expecting that we will learn a lot in the first year of operations with a few hiccups and “gotcha” moments along the way.

As you know this isn’t the first time, I’ve followed this path of reinvention.  However, this time I’m doing it with my love.

I can’t tell you the importance of a shared vision and teamwork is in a relationship… and working on this venture together is incredible!

We talk about too little time, but when it’s a shared vision it makes all the more worthwhile and fulfilling.

Not to mention the value and good feelings you get from helping others.

Helping minimize the “too little time” syndrome and injecting some much-needed love, and indeed luxury into someone specials life is an incredible feeling.

So, what services will Romance Rendezvous provide you ask???

Many times, it’s the simple things in life that deliver the most meaning and impact.

It could be as simple as a well-crafted card, a bouquet of their favourite fresh cut flowers, a small gift or token of your love or feelings or maybe a secret weekend getaway…

We need to think of romance beyond your spouse or significant other.   Bringing meaning and love into a parent, son, daughter, or family member is also a token of immeasurable love that we can accommodate.

As I always say, “adventures begin where plans end” and so it is with Romance Rendezvous.   We can help you take away the headaches of ideation and execution.

Not many of us are capable of crafting a weekend getaway or special adventure, so let our knowledge and experience help create something special for you.

Romance Rendezvous takes away the time factor of planning when you’re busy and have too little time.

We provide a free consultation to learn more about the outcome you want to achieve along with what types of gifts, and moments that appeal most.

There is no cookie cutter approach to romance…

Every loved one has different likes and dislikes, different ideas about love and romance but more importantly bound within the different love languages.

In Dr Gary Chapman’s 1992 – The Five Love languages he outlined five different ways that people feel loved and valued.

These are:

  1. Words of affirmation – providing compliments and meaningful, heartfelt words of love to your loved ones.
  2. Acts of service – being able to provide a service to those that they love including taking away the burdensome tasks of the day-to-day.
  3. Receiving gifts – and particularly the thought behind the gift is so meaningful to this person.
  4. Spending quality time – particularly with no distractions is key devoted to being together.
  5. Physical touch – hugs, kisses, holding hands along with your physical presence is paramount.

Clearly, there is a lot that can be deciphered from these love languages, but more importantly from the act of looking for, and receiving help to revitalize or invigorate your love for someone special in your life.

No two couples or families are built the same and so a bespoke and individual approach is vital in our business model.

Here’s to new adventures!

Until next week
